From Tiny Nucleus to Mighty Swarm: First Steps

The very first version of Waggle Cells. Here's the core gameplay: start with a single nucleus, eat nutrients and grow your swarm to take on others.

A green cell swarm gathered around its nucleus on an Endless battlefield scattered with nutrients

You are the swarm's nucleus

All you move is a single nucleus at the heart of your swarm. Basic cells follow it and attack approaching enemies on their own, so you only choose where to go and whom to fight. On PC, move with a right-click or WASD; on mobile, tap the screen or use the joystick.

The more you eat, the bigger you grow

Endless is a mode where many players compete to grow, without end, on one battlefield. Collect scattered nutrients to level up, and the higher your level, the bigger your swarm. A fallen nucleus spills the nutrients it collected all around it.

A special cell every 3 levels

Every 3 levels, choose one of three random options to add to your swarm. The lineup started with 12 and has grown to 30 across Offense, Defense, Support and Control. The combo you build is your strategy.

Choose your fights with Rally

When you rally, your cells stop attacking and huddle tight around your nucleus. When a fight turns against you, rally and pull out, and when you spot an opening, release them and pounce. Toggle it with a left-click or Space on PC, or the Rally button on mobile.

Down, but not out

Step into a Cell Garden to recover HP. Even if your nucleus is destroyed, you can respawn and try again.

Start from one tiny nucleus and become the biggest swarm on the battlefield.
