A New Battlefield Every Match: Endless Events

Six Endless events and four new special cells were added over the 0.5 series. Meet a battlefield that changes every match, new allies and a hands-on tutorial.

A swarm closing in on a Giant Nutrient Cell roaming the battlefield, with nutrients scattered around

The battlefield changes on its own

World events visit Endless from time to time. Their name and countdown show up first, so get ready ahead of time.

Six events of the 0.5 series

  • Giant Nutrient Cell: a giant cell roams the battlefield. The more you hit it, the more nutrients it drops, and when it falls, it bursts into a pile of them
  • Cell Regen Surge: fallen cells come back much faster, and Cell Gardens bloom all over
  • Cluster Zone Shrink: the zone narrows toward the center, then widens again. Stay outside it and you take damage
  • Nutrient Crystal Rain: crystals fall on marked spots. Getting hit hurts, but nutrients scatter all around
  • Cluster Mobility Surge: every player and cell gets much faster
  • Microbial Fog Spread: fog rolls in and hides distant enemies

Four new special cells

  • Assassin Cell: ignores every other enemy and hunts enemy nuclei to the end
  • Disruptor Cell: scatters enemy cells with pulses, leaving them unable to fight for a moment
  • Protector Cell: raises a shield and takes the damage meant for its allies
  • Sower Cell: scatters traps that damage enemies who come close and greatly slow them down

Easier to learn, too

When you first arrive, a hands-on tutorial teaches moving, rallying, combat, special cells and Endless events one by one. You can replay the tutorial from the lobby at any time. In the Cell Codex, you can watch videos of special cells in real combat.
